Director and Chair 2022-2023 Year-End Message

Dear Parents/Guardians, Students and Staff:
As the 2022-2023 school year draws to a close, we reflect on the many opportunities and remarkable successes of our students, staff and entire NPSC community. It is with much gratitude and humility that we extend our appreciation to our amazing students, staff, families and community partners for an incredible school year.
This school year marked a much more regular school year for our students and staff since the pandemic, and what a magnificent year it was! We were blessed to provide an engaging and robust Catholic school experience for our students to support them to reach their full potential and thrive.
As we walked forward together on a renewed path this school year, we grew and deepened relationships in our Catholic school communities with such a positive spirit and this brings us all great hope for the future. From renewing learning experiences through authentic collaboration, gathering once again to celebrate faith through masses and liturgies, participating in social justice activities, resuming a full slate of school and system extra-curricular activities, experiential learning through field trips, and year-end graduations, our system was strengthened and truly became a living expression of our Board’s vision “Rooted in Faith, Alive in Spirit!”
As we journey into summer, we also extend our prayerful congratulations to all of our students who are celebrating the great milestone of graduation at the elementary or secondary panels. Regardless of where you are at in your journey, our hope is you will be able to bring the knowledge, skills, faith and experiences gained at NPSC into the next chapter of your life. We are so proud of you!
With the relaxing days of summer just around the corner, we are very pleased to reflect on and celebrate some of the outstanding achievements accomplished by our amazing students and staff during this past school year. We invite you to take some time to view our Schools to Believe In: A Year to Remember interactive communication, highlighting some special moments from the end of the school year!
Once again, we express our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to our incredible NPSC Catholic community, parents/guardians, our staff, students and community for your support throughout this year as we worked together to provide the great gift of Catholic education – an education with a difference! Thank you for choosing the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board schools!
