The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board (NPSC) extends its deepest and prayerful condolences to the family of
Frank O'Hagan, who passed into God's loving embrace on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Frank was a well-loved Catholic educator that served NPSC from 1969-2001, teaching at both St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School and in the elementary panel at St. Alexander, Our Lady of Fatima, and Mother St. Bride schools. Frank also served NPSC as a Catholic School Trustee from 2003-2013 and in November 2022, when he retired from this role.
Frank touched the minds and hearts of so many students and colleagues through his teaching, coaching career, and service in the community and parish. In his service as a Catholic School Trustee, Frank demonstrated unwavering support for students and their families - particularly those with special education needs - and also served on the Board's Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC).
Together, let us pray for the repose of Frank's soul:
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
Frank's family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services (362 Airport Rd.) on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church (299 Airport Rd.) on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
We kindly request that you keep the O'Hagan family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
