Let's Talk About Concussions with Dr. Charles Tator

Teachers, coaches, parents, health practitioners, and student athletes are encouraged to attend this presentation if you are interested in learning more about concussions.  Please join us at this free event  on October 28 from 6:30-8:30pm at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall. All are welcome!

Dr. Tator, OC, CM, MD, PhD, FRCSC, FACS is a Canadian physician, professor, renowned neurosurgeon, and a leading concussion expert.

This presentation will cover:
- Local statistics about concussion occurrence
- What is currently known about concussions in terms of diagnosis and treatment
- The important consequences of concussions
- The impacts of second impact syndrome, post concussion syndrome, mental health disorders, and brain degeneration
