The Annual Indigenous Education Staff Retreat took place this October, with teachers from schools across NPSC participating in lessons and workshops to learn and experience indigenous culture. The four-day event included a focus on the Medicine Wheel teachings, Indigenous History of Canada, the impact of Residential Schools, the Walking the Path Program and integrating Indigenous language, culture and perspectives into classroom instruction.
