St. Luke student, Alexandra Dech, is representing North Bay in the National Young Citizen’s filmmaker challenge. Alexandra won the Young Citizens Award at the North Bay Heritage Fair for her project about her family's heritage. Her video documents her grandparents' journey from Italy to Canada, featuring interviews with relatives and even a visit to Pier 21 in Halifax. Help Alexandra secure a trip to Ottawa to for the 2017 History Youth Forum by voting for her video. Students from across the country will be vying for a spot at the Forum so let’s help Alexandra share her story!
