3 Wise Man See a Star

As Christmas draws near we take the time to reflect on this school year so far. From special school activities like Orange Shirt Day, moving and commemorative Remembrance Day ceremonies hosted in schools across our board, as well as the rich and meaningful academic learning activities our students have been engaging in, this year has already been one to remember!

We are thrilled to see so many special events taking place in our schools to celebrate the Christmas season, including Christmas liturgies, concerts and other artistic presentations.  We encourage you to join us as we enjoy this time celebrating with students, staff, family, and friends.

May we also take time to remember the important lessons our Catholic faith teaches us during the Advent season.  Lessons of generosity, gratitude, charity and hope are certainly alive in our schools as our staff and students display numerous acts of community service and social justice, for those in need.

As we celebrate this wonderful time of year we give thanks to our community partners and volunteers who continue to support us in our journey as we serve our students in the light of Christ.

On behalf of the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board, we thank all our staff and we wish all a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

May the peace of Christmas fill your hearts, the joy of Christmas fill your homes, and the blessing of Christmas fill your days throughout the New Year.

A special thank you to our students for creating such beautiful artwork.

Sincerely,

Barbara McCool, Board Chair & Anna Marie Bitonti, Director of Education
