World Teachers' Day

October 5 is World Teachers' Day!

World Teachers' Day is celebrating it's 20th anniversary!  Held annually on October 5 since 1994 when it was created by UNESCO, World Teachers' Day celebrates teachers worldwide.  Its aim is to mobilise support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.

Cobalt Cross-Country Race

Several NPSC schools participated in the October 2nd TDSS Cross Country Invitationals in Cobalt.  John XXIII-Corpus Christi School had 47 participants at the race and it's Grade 4 girls team finished first overall (see photo)!  Other participating schools were St. Luke with 40 participants, St. Francis with 23 participants, St. Alexander with 13 participants, and St. Joseph-Scollard Hall with 38 participants.  Great work!

SEAC Communique - Fall 2014

During the 2013–2014 school year, parents were invited by the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board’s Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) to complete a voluntary and confidential parent engagement survey to provide input on enhancing our programs and services that support our students with special education learning needs.
